Recently, The Britain customs launched special auditing action to low declared value products, contraband products and other illegal entry products in Asia, especially for China and India.
In order to protect the interests of the customers, avoid being detained by customs. Please declare according to the following requirements which issued by Britain customs.
1.The requirements of declared value
British customs will detain the low declared parcels, and require companies to provide verifiably information of trading payments. So please fill the declared value accurately.
For the items which declared value exceeds 18 GBP, you need to attach the invoice that required by the customs.
2. From now on, all the parcels which declared value exceed 18 GBP will be exacted 50 RMB for customs clearance except the 20% VAT.
3.Application requirements on restricted items
To import the restriction commodity should provide proof of written signature, commodity inspection certificate and some relevant information. Example: pure battery and which item contains battery should to offer the formal MSDS certification and battery letter. In addition, for international famous brand items should to provide the formal purchase invoice or production authorization.
Restricted items: Battery, accessory battery, emergency for medical treatment or scientific research of drug, sports guns, live animal, super standard magnetic items, Perishable product, radioactive substances, vaccines
4.Banned Items
Copy brand, Spray container, alcoholic liquids, asbestos, Butane lighter, Medical waste, Toxic items, Corrosion items, Counterfeit money, drug, Dry ice, combustible, Pornographic items, super standard magnetic items, Oxide and organic peroxide, Arms and ammunition, Solubility paint coating and other local countries law banned items are also strictly prohibit to import on British customs. therefore wish customers strictly observe this rule and don’t post above items ,British customs may shall be investigate legal responsibility if someone post above banned items .In addition, forspecial items (Stun Gun)also can not be allowed to transfer in British customs even if it’s the legal permission products for other European countries.
5.Goods description
For a description of items,cannot be vague words, such as “gifts”,may lead to clearance of obstacles. In order to ensure smooth clearance of your package, please provide specific, detailed product description.

近期，英国海关开展了针对从亚洲，特别是从中国、印度等国进口商品低价值申报、限制品、违禁品非法入境等现象的专项稽查行动。为保障广大客户的利益，避免货物被英国海关扣押，特传达英国海关近期的报关要求如下，请广大客户注意按以下要求进行申报：
1.申报价值要求
英国海关将对有低价申报嫌疑的进口商品进行扣留，并要求商家提供可核查的交易支付款信息，请广大客户准确填写您的物品的申报价值，对所有申报价值高于18英镑的商品，建议随包寄送符合海关要求的发票。
2.现在对所有申报价值超过18GBP的邮包，除征收20%的增值税（VAT）外，还将需要收取50RMB/件的清关费用。
3.限制邮寄类物品的申报要求
投寄限制进口商品时须提供书面签字的投寄证明、产品检验及合格证明等相关资料。如：电池及含电池的物品，投寄时必须提供MSDS证明和正本电池信。另外，对于国际知名品牌产品投寄，必须提供正规的购买发票或授权书。
限制投寄的商品包括：电池、含电池的物品、紧急用于医疗或科研的药品、体育用的枪支、活动物、未超标准的磁性物品、易腐品、放射性物品、疫苗等。
4.禁止投寄的商品
仿牌假牌物品、 喷雾容器、酒精类液体等物品都是英国海关严格禁止投寄的，请广大客户严格遵守，不要投寄上述物品，如违法投寄以上物品，英国海关将可能追究法律责任。另外，如耳钉枪（Stun Gun）等欧洲其他国家法律许可的邮寄产品，英国海关也不允许进行入境中转。
5.物品的描述
对于物品的描述，不能是gifts这样的模糊字眼，可能会导致清关障碍。为了确保您的包裹顺利清关，请一定要具体，详细的提供没有歧义的产品说明。
6.100%每个包裹查验，不要试图冒险。
